PMR Automotive Hosts 6th Annual “Topple the Tow Truck” Toy Drive Event to Support Toys for Tots

Marion, IL – PMR Automotive is once again revving up the holiday spirit with its 6th Annual Topple the Tow Truck event, happening Saturday, November 15th at Steven’s in Marion, IL. The community-favorite event encourages local residents to help topple a PMR tow truck with donations of new, unwrapped toys for the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots program.

Each year, PMR Automotive partners with local businesses and residents to bring holiday joy to children across Southern Illinois. The goal is simple: fill the bed of a PMR tow truck to overflowing with toys for families in need.

“We love getting to help local kids, especially this time of year,” says Nicole Miskelley, manager of PMR Automotive. “We’ve been doing Toys for Tots for several years now and love getting to spread joy and the magic of the holidays throughout the region.”

In addition to the event at Steven’s, PMR Automotive will also be collecting toys at their shop at 900 E Deyoung St in Marion through December 5th. Customers who bring a new, unwrapped toy when they come in for service will receive 10% off their non-discounted repairs, up to $50.

The team at PMR invites everyone in the community to participate — whether by attending the November 15th event, dropping off a toy at the shop, or spreading the word to friends and family.

“This event is one of our favorite traditions,” adds Miskelley. “Every toy collected represents a smile on a child’s face, and that’s what makes it all worthwhile.”
