2nd Annual Fixing Up for Christmas Under Way

PMR is giving kids in Southern Illinois a brighter Christmas this year. The auto repair shop has started it's second annual “Fixing Up for Christmas” campaign to give toys to the local Toys for Tots program.

Now through Saturday, December 16, customer have two ways to donate to the program. Customers who bring in a new, unwrapped toy will receive two dollars off of their oil change. Those who are having repairs done at the shop will have a percentage of their bill donated to a fund to purchase more toys for children.

“Christmas can be crazy,” said manager Nicole Firebaugh. “Between the presents, the family, the food, and the weather, sometimes we put off fixing our cars. We wanted to help people remember to have their repairs and maintenance done before the holidays and travel, and still allow them to help out a great organization.”

Those who would like to donate but are not in need of a repair or an oil change can still drop off a new, unwrapped toy to be donated before 4 p.m. on December 16. Donations are being accepted now at PMR of Marion at 900 E Deyoung St. in Marion. You can make your appointment or drop off a toy Monday – Friday between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. and Saturday between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.

For more information, contact Nicole Firebaugh at 618-998-9010, ext 1.
